I want to acknowledge the exceptional effort and coordination that led to the outstanding airtightness results at Warm Springs Golf & Grill project.
Final testing came in well below IECC (4 times lower) and IGCC (3 times lower) thresholds, with performance approaching the Passivhaus nonresidential target. The measured result of ≤0.10 CFM/ft²@75Pa places the building among the tightest commercial projects in North America.
Great work by the INSIGHT team, ESI team, and all subcontractors who went above and beyond. The detailing and execution of the air barrier work by Brant Freeman & Associates was exceptional. ESI also exceeded expectations by supporting their subcontractors and ensuring the work met the required level of detail and quality. The positive and collaborative attitude of the design and construction teams throughout the project was greatly appreciated.
The City of Boise deserves credit for prioritizing high standards on the countless unseen and often underappreciated details that will deliver performance for decades.
